Social science does not talk about “the” (single) masculinity any more - at least not since the publications of authors like Robert / Raewyn Connell.
Worldwide research has found out that masculinities are different in different countries, continents and cultures - and were different in earlier ages.
This project aims at giving an overview about books, research papers, websites, pictures on the topic - categorized in countries.
An important aim of this website also is to create a culture of peaceful masculinity by learning, that being a man does not necessarily mean to be violent (or to be “a warrior”).
